Stupid Question regarding Rooting

I currently am paying whatever the fee is to have the Total Protection package on my wonderful EVO 4G. My question is, now that my phone is rooted, is my phone still covered under this or should I cancel it and save the money?

You can return it back to stock if you have to bring it into them, but some have had success having their phone repaired/replaced while rooted. Apparently Sprint internally allows their stores to service rooted phones, but it's probably best to return to stock if you have an issue you need Sprint for.
