Only thing I have noticed is a little lag when going from an app and hitting the home screen.

Very impressed. Haven't run into any problems yet, and I've been toying with this ROM all afternoon.

Flashed this last night just to play around with it a bit. Hell I even set it all up so I could use and made a nandroid of that. Just so j can flash back to to use it here and there.
Have to say, outside of flashing and using the official update this rom was the first Sense based rom that has caught my eye in a long while.
Very nicely do, looks freakin awesome!!! I will most definitely play with this rom from time to time.
Won't replace my daily driver but will be nice to tinker with.
And ya samething here HTC hub doesn't work.

I like the extra features included in this vs Mik's that it's based off. However, I am seeing the lag when exiting some apps and the homescreen has to be redrawn, HTC hub doesn't work, and both this and Mik's are seriously RAM hungry.
Running this leaves me with about 60mb of RAM remaining, while Mik's leaves 70mb. CM7...over 200mb free; and that's with way more apps. Anybody know how the stock roms compare? - 06-15-2011, 10:50 PM #12

I found it difficult to answer phone calls when the phone had been locked. Either the circle wouldnt move or it would just sit there doing nothing. Switched back to CM7 and have no issues.

As far as performance, the straight Mik's ROM definitely does better than this. Haven't had any issues with it at all.
One thing I've been noticing about RAM use: I'm seeing a discrepancy between what the Task Manager app included with these roms is reporting vs "running services" in settings. Have to look into that... - 06-16-2011, 07:13 PM #15
Task manager app is definitely wonky. I loaded the phone up with PowerAmp, navigation, Dolphin browser, messaging, and email, and it hovered around 70mb available ram the whole time. Ram usage in settings/applications/running services, on the other hand, showed about 190mb free, down to 150-160 as I loaded it up as before. That was with MikG, btw, but I suspect the same would apply to the Evolved rom. I think the lag issues with Evolved lie elsewhere than ram usage.

Ok so I've run this rom for just about 2 days now and I really really want to like it. But it reminds me why I went to aosp roms. I agree with everything everyone has said above.
It's very ram hunger, as are all Sense based roms. And because of that it gets choppy and laggy at times. Anytime I unlock it, exit an app or go from landscreen to portrait the screen seams to have to redraw its self. Those were the biggest things that made me jump to aosp in the first place.
I do how ever freakin love the lockscreen and drop down notifications page. They are really useful and very well done.
It's been a long time since I've run a Sense based rom, but this is the first one that I've run for more than a few hours.
Anyone try an different kernels with this rom yet and if so, what and how/did it help out this ROM?

Try the MikG 1.04 ROM from the post further down. Not as stylized as this one, and it's missing a couple of nice apps this one has, but it's been rock solid for me, and HTC Hub works. As I said above, I think RAM usage is being mis-reported by the Task Manager app, and I don't think RAM use is why this ROM is laggy. I could be wrong, but considering how solid MikG is running for me (Evolved is based off MikG), I don't know....
And yes, once you try some of that 3.0 stuff, it's hard to give it up. - 06-17-2011, 07:59 PM #18
