Evo on ebay latest firmware?

Is 2.3.3 the latest firmware as I'm itching to get this

Yes 2.3.3 is the latest but it.is impossible to root the EVO at this time with the ginberbread up date I think might be taking you for ride it says rooted with update stock you cannot root gingerbread at this time hum looks fishy to me I would pass on it

You can have a rooted evo with the gingerbread update. Because it is from eBay with a bid of $1 I wouldn't trust it. Honestly I don't trust anything from eBay.

Just means he put the rooted version of the stock 2.3 ROM on there. Nothing strange about that.

He could just mean its rooted with the 2.3.3 gb with the 2.10 hboot. Wouldn't hurt to ask questions or send a pic of the hboot itself.

He listed it as root, you're safe. Paypal and eBay always side with the buyer anyway if it comes to a dispute.
