I'm wondering if any of you have ever experienced the phone (HTC EVO 4G) completely disconnecting from 3G service when there is no data transferred for 10+ seconds? I play a MMORPG game on my phone, and it needs to have an always-on data connection (which is indeed enabled) but it will still completely disconnect from the 3G service if idle for 10+ seconds...
The 3G and the data transfer arrows go 'dim' (the whole icon set doesn't disappear). When the 3G above the arrows goes dim, that means that 3G is enabled but not active on the network...
Does anyone have any ideas, hacks or fixes that I can do to make this connection actually BE 'always-on', as I expect it to be? Thanks.
