I know Google Voice supports multi-language text on the web. is it possible I can send some asian foreign language text by EVO 4G? Lemme rephrase my questions

1. Can I installed some IME for foreign lanuage on EVO 4G? so I can do foreign language text? more precisely, aisan language.

2. Can EVO 4G shows those language characters correctly? I mean, for RIM, when i received some msg like that, all i had is a few dots, and few black square, or even some spaces

My guess is that the cell carrier's SMS (texting) system is limited to English characters only. I base it on my experience with Sprint Pre, which uses the same app for both SMS and IM. I can send and receive Cyrillic characters through GTalk, AIM, YahooIM, ICQ, Facebook Chat, etc. But SMS turns them into dots or question-marks. :(

What i heard b4, some friend of mine, apple iphone user, got no problem to receive chinese or japanese text. Does that mean AT&T has such system?

Confirm!
My friend with iPhone an AT&T gets Cyrillic SMS all the time (not from me, from other iPhone users).
He just sent a Cyrilic SMS to my Google Voice number, that gets forwarded to my Sprint Pre. I could see the text in Google Voice in web browser, but my Pre received only blanks.
The strange part was when I sent him an SMS directly from my Google Voice number though a web browser, i.e. without Sprint involvement. He received dots instead of Cyrillics. So, it's not just Sprint bad AT&T good.
