So what is the unrevoked 3 ? Is it just a root ? A Rom ? Sorry I am new to the Android root thing. Thanks.

Unrevoked was the exploit used to root the evo. Now there is alpha rev.

Oh so it us a method of rooting your phone ? Than you have to find yourself a Rom ? What's a good Rom by the way sorry for all the questions am new to this again.

It depends on if you want to stay with the Sense ROM which is what the stock ROM runs off of or if you want to go with an ASOP ROM. ASOP ROMs take up less space and have been known to have a better battery life but some people like to stay with the Sense ROMs for ease of use and widgets. I personally like the ASOP ROMs and am running Decks 1.3d.
