I am trying to zero out my esns and the updated rom I have cannot find the esns so I can zero them out.

SO should I just put another rom on it from a different phone thats on the sprint network where I already know where the esns are and zero it on that?

If you're talking about putting a ROM built for one phone and putting it on a different phone... then you will end up with a phone that's not usable/bricked. Even if its a common ROM that's built for multiple devices (example CyanogenMod)... you need to use the specific version of the ROM for the corresponding device.
