Error message says SD card improperly mounted.

I did not remove my card, but I got a notification that my SD card had not been removed properly. Since then, I've removed it and reinstalled it, but I've noticed that apps on the SD card will not open. It's as if the phone can't read the SD card. I did a reboot on the phone and the problem went away for a while, then returned.

Total Space = unavailable. Available space = unavailable. Mount SD card is greyed out, same with Erase SD Card.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, though I took the card out, cleaned the contacts and blew air to the socket, took a few re starts before all my sd card apps went from green to normal, the same card works great on my Android tablet so I know it has to do with the contacts on the EVO, good luck.
