How I reclaimed 25MB+ of space on my EVO
Perhaps you're like me: I'm constantly looking to get extra space on my EVO and I always like to keep my apps updated to the current version.
I was down to 43mb available and was getting the low space error. I don't root my device so removing the Sprint bloatware was an option, but removing the updates was. So, I uninstalled the updates for Qik Video, Nascar, Sprint Football, Blockbuster, and Amazon MP3 and it gave me 27mb of space back!!
I know some of you use those apps so you might not want to do it for all of them, but even just doing a couple will get you some valuable space back!Thanked by 3: - 01-17-2012, 11:58 AM #2

I did the exact same thing recently. I do not use any of these apps, so I did not see the need to have the most current version. Gave me about the same amount of free space.

yeah i did this myself but it bugged me to see the "Update Available" for these in Market so i re-installed the updates. i can't wait for the Sprint G-Nex.

I uninstalled the updates for those a while ago and got that memory back. It was very helpful.
