So im coming from the Palm pre, and have the chargers

I bought a new rockfish charger at best buy, but my Sprint car charger I had for the pre seems to charge it?

Is this OK to use the sprint one or should i use this Rocketfish to charge to EVO

or no difference between the Pre charger and the charger for the EVO (including wall charger)

Any USB charger should work. They should put out the correct amperage.

Not just any charger with a micor USB connector will work. Some of the GPS micro USB chargers are 9V and will fry your phone.

I've been using my Palm Pre chargers more than the Evo charger and everything is groovy. I've left the Evo plugged in overnight and no fires yet.

I still can't get it to work with my touchstone for some reason.....

While I miss my touchstones, I don't miss having to open that little door to plug the phone in.

I miss my touchstone too. I have already torn down my Pre to see what all is involved in how it worked. It is actually very simple and I don't think it would impossible to hack into another phone.

Those stupid charge pads are not an option. If it cannot be contained inside the device then its not worth using in my mind.

That's awesome that Pre chargers work. I have a Motorola at work and I can charge my Pre there too. so I guess I won't need to buy any chargers.

I never did get the touchstone and always wished I had. but now since i can upgrade in Sept to the Evo I figure its not worth it.

I miss my touchstone as well. BB gave me false information on the Pre chargers as they wanted to sell me the Rockfish car charger for the EVO. I've been using the chargers from my Pre and all is well. Actually prefer the Pre chargers as they are cooler looking.
