The place I was at, was by appointment only. There was a line because of some ***** thinking doing a server upgrade at that time was a good idea.

Went to my RS at 8 am per my request and they opened the door for me and turned on the lights. Another guy had been there earlier, but I don't know when. While I was getting processed, a guy walked in asking if they had any - they didn't, I had the last extra - and he left. Real quiet, no muss or fuss.

No lines from open to mid day. Sales people waiting around for customers.

Tons of Evo's in stock with no signs of selling out ever.

I was the 1st one at BB, my appt was at 8:00. While they were having issues with the Sprint system, there were 2 more people that were behind me to get one around 20 mins later.

My local Sprint store sold over 60 before noon, which was their allotment. I made an appointment at RS on Thursday to get my wife an EVO today. After getting her phone, we went back to RS this afternoon to get my mother-in-law just a regular phone, and the guy recognized me and said 'we still have one EVO left'.

I have a Palm Pre and was planning on waiting for the next Palm phone, but after seeing the size of the EVO, I decided to take it out for a spin for 30 days. I guess we'll see if I actually end up keeping it. lol

Walked into a NYC Sprint store around 11:30 and out with EVO around 12:00. Although when I was walking out there was a lot a people waiting. I must of just missed the NYC lunch crowd.

Nope, I went after work 5ish. There was only 5 pre orders including me, everyone went this morning and had a very long wait for activation. Store opened normal hours at 9am. RS rep told me that the 4 earlier customers had a very long wait for activation, he was on hold for a good 45 mins with Sprint for each customer. My call only took 10 mins

For those who were unable to get an EVO, RS rep kept telling me to spread the word that they are taking pre orders tomorrow for their next shipment (estimated shipment arrival Tuesday or Wednesday). Not sure if that's for all RS, but the manager even pushed me to show off my new EVO and get people to pre order tomorrow.

the radio shacks in my area didn't get many EVOs. i was able to get the last one. i have a few friends that hate me right now because they don't have one. sold out in my area fast. i think because of low supply.

I was first one at Radio Shack at 830AM and nobody was there, however it still took 4 hours to activate because of sprints servers.

Same as you. I showed up at Sprint at 9 AM, no lines at all, store opened at 8 AM. Walked right in and was waited on right away, got the EVO in less than 15 minutes. Bought some accessories, which I got for 25% off. Pretty nice experience.

At the radioshack where I pre-ordered there was only four of us when they opened at 6, so I dont know if most people pre-ordered or if they got there after . I ;ater went to the nearest sprint store to pick up the body glove case around 12:30 and I would say there was about 30 people waiting inside the store to buy one and a bunch of people were being turned away at the door cuz they had just the amount left for the people who had been checked into the system. I just hate that the sprint system crashed when I got there and had to go next door to get money out of the ATM

After getting it at RS at 7:30, I drove accross the HWY to the Sprint store. David Robinson was sitting in a chair in the corner under a promo ad poster. I got my pic taken with him... kinda a sorta big deal in S.A. Sprint store was much busier than normal.
