Default ATT->Sprint. How long has it been taking?

Sorry if this has been posted already. I got the EVO today and ditched the iPhone, how long did you have to wait for the port to happen?

    TIA

I am guessing you don't remember the whole Iphone fiasco a while back? It will take time, be patient.

My rep told me to wait over 6 hours.. I said screw that and tried as soon as I got home, and it worked -- no problems at all.

    Gotta love Sprint reps.

I'm coming from T-mobile...the sprint rep told me it can take up to 72 hours, and most likely will take 1-2. It's been about 7 hours now. I notice some people say they tried it when they got home...but my question is....My t-mobile phone is still working, and they said not to turn on the EVO until the t-mobile phone quits working? Is that the same thing they told you guys?

    Default not long

took about 30 mins to port from my iphone/at&t. Though, i had to call sprint to do it. The OTA wasn't working so i called the Sprint activation line from the Shack around 7:30am MST this morning.

I just called sprint, and talked to them...took about half hour after that...I guess I shouldn't of waited 6 hours to call them.

This is one of the reasons that I didn't port my AT&T over until I get both the lines up and running correctly. Once the Evo is in my hands working properly, then I will request the port.
