Default Evo Wifi Not Staying Connected

I can't get our Evos' WiFi to work. I brought my wife's and my new Evos home today and set them up to connect to my wireless router. It detects the router and WPA2 security. I enter the passcode and get a message that it was obtaining an (IP) address. When it got one, it was only seconds before it was waiting for an address again. My laptop connect without a problem. What am I missing here?

I am also seeing the 3G and the phone's signal strengh vary quite a bit including intermittently going away. Facebook and some other site appear OK but Qik will not connect at all.

I have the EVO 3D and I have the same issue. It's not staying connected. I have to power the router off and on and then it works, but only for a while. I don't know how to fix this issue.

I would try it on another WiFi network if possible.

Have not had this issues for quite some time. Ocassionally I do have to reboot the router. You might want to make sure your router firmware is updated.

This happened to my Evo when i first got it, I left it alone for about a day-day and a half and it connected no problem. And it hasn't happened again.

Well good thing is if the problem continues its probably a software issue and should be fixed in an update.
