copying music problem

I hooked up my EVO to my computer and copied all my music files over into the Music directory.

I seem to be having 2 problems (both with the cover flow)

1. There were some songs that came with it. I deleted these out of the folder but they are still showing in the cover flow, and produce an error when scrolling over them.
2. I have no covers for any of my other songs that I copied over (the only ones showing are the pre-loaded ones).

Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?
