FiOS Apps on Evo?

Haven't bit the bullet just yet on the Evo, but probably this week (if I can find one).

Has anyone tried installing the Verizon FiOS DVR and Remote apps on the Evo? Verizon supports the Droid and Incredible (both Verizon devices), but I've heard reports of these apps working on the Hero as well. Would be great if these are running on the Evo.

Yes..it works fine. Just activated, and can see all my recordings and schedules.

I was able to get the DVR app to work but I cant get the remot app to work.

i cant access my widgets on my fios box for some reason....maybe a reboot will clear it up....i'll try that later

I got the remote app working but just wanted to add that the DVR thing doesn't work for me on *any* of my devices/computers, not just the EVO

i got the remote to work. You get to choose your phone, and ofo course, the EVO is not listed, so I went with the closest one, which is the incredible...worked perfect.....changed channels, ff, rwd, even brought up pics from my phone to the tv.....very cool app....

yea, that's what i did too, i chose the incredible and every works great.
