Prl 60686 is out!

Just did a PRL update and got a new one. Probably has something to do with all the network upgrades they're doing in my area. I know my data speeds are getting better ny the day!

I picked up the new PRL but I noticed that I have a later Kernel and build version than you show. The kernel I have is from Dec 21, 2011 with a build number 4.67.651.3.

Are you rooted? I'm running a custom Sense ROM based on an earlier OTA.

That would be the reason then. Since my device is rooted I can't take official Sprint updates or it could really mess up my phone.

I am rooted in running cm7.. I flashed. Back to sense and updated the prl. I must say data speeds along with signal strength has improved big time. I and best of all battery life. Seems to have improved. Am a happy camper.

Always make sure to update your "profile" after updating your prl. That way your system will receive the absolute best data speeds it can. You're not kidding about the improvements and signal, speed and battery life. Thankfully our devices aren't having to use such a weak signal anymore, thus increasing battery life.

hmm after updating to this prl and updating the profile i can no longer data roam ;( anybody else having this issue?

*edit resolved issue by doing ##DATA# and reactivating the phone* all is good now.
