Evo wetness indicator

Hi there. I just had a question about the wetness indicator on the Evo.

A white sticker with the red diagonal lines (like the one seen here: http://s2.guide-images.ifixit.com/igi/ql6UYXEEhinoBsd2.huge) is normal; right? That means it hasn't been triggered or activated? If so, what does the sticker look like when it has gotten wet? Solid red?

Reason I ask is my old BlackBerry simply had a solid white sticker, and my new Evo has the red diagonal lines on the battery and the phone. I'm assuming that means it's a-okay, but I just want to make sure.
