Just Some More Questions

I have recently noticed that their are a few forums about the 2.3.5 update for the evo... I just purchased this phone and after having activated it and trying to update it, it's only on 2.3.3 and i have also noticed i do not have the Google Play Store but i do have an unfamiliar looking Android Market app. The original icon but the layout is unfamiliar. Any Thoughts???????

Regarding the Google Play Store, most people - myself included - report success by clearing data and force stopping the app from the Apps menu.

If that does not work, you can do a Google search for the apk and side load it to the Evo. This is what I had to do with my Nexus S, don't know if I still have the apk.

Regarding official GB versions, AFAIK, version 2.3.5 was released for the Nexus S 4G not the Evo: The one for the Evo 4G was actually 2.3.3.
