Default Using Evo as a hardwired modem for PS3

Does anybody know of a way to use the Evo 4g as a modem hardwire connected to a PS3 system using the sprint hotspot feature? I am unable to connect to the PSN or Playstation store because my console doesn't have wireless capability built in (older backwards compatible model) just so that I can get onto the store to purchase and download add-ons, games, and get the extras with game pre-orders, as well as system updates. I have not been able to find ANYWHERE that can tell me how to do this. Any help is appreciated!!!

Hard wired is not possible. The ps3 doesn't have USB drivers for the evo's hardware other than seeing it as a USB drive for multimedia files.

Do you know how I could use my computer as a router to connect then? I have a Cat5 cable, and saw online that it is possible...but no instructions on HOW to make it happen.

Google internet sharing. Wifi hot spot to PC, internet sharing over a LAN cable to the ps3
