HTC Evo Unlocked with Unlock Code

I assume this is a lie. I see no mention in the teardown of GSM capable chips. Saw a video on youtube where some girl had been fed some misinformation that the EVO could run on T-Mobile.

As I understand it the only CDMA phones that work on GSM are verizons World Phone Blackberries. If anyone can weigh in on this, let me know.

Well in the phone information and the system. GSM says it's running, and this has been a cause for concern on battery. That it's not set correctly for CDMA of course. If a GSM radio is indeed in this phone, this could raise a lot of questions.

No reason HTC would spend money putting a GSM radio in this thing. Plus, no room for a SIM. If they wanted to launch this thing on GSM carriers, they would just do a full up GSM version.

htc rarely ever releases the same phone on two carriers. if they do, they modify the body a bit and/or call it something different.

I seriously doubt that this is true.
