critical apps DISAPPEARING from Evo ? Navagation / Market

This is troubling....I'll have to do a detailed investigation but critical apps like Navagation (google) and Market and AppBrain are GONE...

I've had smartphones for 10 years starting with a Samsung I300 / 330 / and 3 Treos and they were 'High Maintenance'

Can someone tell me what the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is going on?

Market is called Play Store now,I sill have the Navigation app and I don't use App Brain.

Somehow I deleted 'market' or 'play store' ????

I'll get to the bottom of it...this is still easier than palm.

Are you rooted? You should not be able to remove the Play Store or Google Navigation otherwise.

Also, you've looked into your app drawer, right? We're not just talking about apps not showing up in one of your 7 home screens...

Try installing this app from your computer:

(Your Google account should be linked to your phone, so you should be able to activate the install from your computer to your phone.)

Then, use it to search within Applications with these different keywords: play, navigation, brain
