orange light blinks when trying to charge, phone wont turn on

Please help, my evo just has a blinking orange light it doesn't seam to charge and the other day I noticed it blinking back and forth from green to orange and its been acting up ever since. What can I do? Is there anything I can do with the few hard buttons?

Nope, it sounds like a corrupted system/bad battery. If you can't get into HBoot, you are done for.

What if I can't even turn my phone on, the blinking orange light is the only thing I see.

Leave your battery out for an hour or so, and does the battery have any buldge to it,if so its junk

I did so and my battery doesn't have a bulge, so we don't know what's going on. We are just going to send my phone in for repairs tomorrow. This is the second time this weird thing has happened.
