Why does my 4G mode keep turning back on?

One thing I have learned is that the 4G (Wimax) mode of my EVO 4G is a real battery killer. So it's very frustrating that I keep noticing the 4G radio has turned itself on. I was using Juice Defender and suspected it might be doing the deed so I uninstalled it... nope. I then got rid of all the Beautiful Widget toggle buttons to see if they were the problem... nope.

I hate turning on my phone to see the battery at 30% and the juice hog 4G antenna back on again. If anyone knows something to try, I'll give it a whirl.

If you recently installed the update that was pushed OTA, this should explain things.

Thank you very much! This issue was really annoying. On the phone, Sprint Connections Optimizer (Settings > Wireless & Network > Mobile networks > Automatic Connections) explains it very well and allows you to disable the feature. Glad I found this forum.
