He's very biased yet his homepage has a picture of "Fanboy Anatomy"... how ironic.
He's very annoying and I know many people who don't read what he writes anymore because it's just stupid.


The guy in the video above is good. He's from Phandroid (uh oh rival site)... but he demoes a lot of stuff on phones that come out.
He's the one who demo'd 3d games on the Evo before it came out... so you should go check out the website to see how your phone runs under all circumstances... cause he'll do it.

Hmm... weird, cause when he did the evo 4g vs iphone 4, he declared the evo the winner....

phandroid? You sure about that? His youtube channel and twitter trump phandroid and he has his own site called technobuffalo. I agree though, he's very good.

I can't believe that he tied the two with the user interface round. I don't like the variation of MOTO blur on the Droid X. It isn't as bad as previous versions, but isn't as polished as Sense. I can agree with the rest of what he was saying

It's all a matter of personal preference. Some will like Sense better, some motoblur. Same thing with keyboards.

His browser test is just ridiculous, though. Comparing speed with no flash (Droid) vs. with flash (Evo) and saying it "Might have something to do with the speed difference." The Evo browser has an option to disable flash--that's how he should have compared.

He also seems to spend a whole lot more time showing the features of motoblur than he does Sense, even though Sense does all the same things.

The biggest differences in these phones, though, aren't things he even checked. If you're considering these, you need to look at the differences in features and basic capabilities. Many of the other differences can be make up in the market.

Yeah Jon is from Technobuffalo and I do respect his opinions and reviews for the most part. I do think he has a soft spot for the EVO though but I'm not complaining. I already knew the EVO was going to win, there is no way the EVO beats the iPhone 4, then iPhone 4 beats the Droid X, then were supposed to think the Droid X is going to have a chance against the EVO, NO Way!!! Good review though....

I'm in an Evo forum for mostly tips/tricks and to be part of the Android community in some shape and form like I have been with Linux for the past 5 years. I'm not a fanboy of any OS. Thanks though.

Maybe my English isn't very good but I don't remember calling you a fanboy. But I do recall you using that phrase toward another member on an EVO forum. If you don't want to hear from fanboys of EVO's you're in the wrong place.

I beg to differ.... They Iphone 4 is a nice phone dont get me wrong but the iphone is boring if not jailbroken... Seriously alot of reviewers are starting to talk about IOS4 stating it needs to be revamped... I mean look at the way u get notifications... Its horrible... Web os and android kills it and thats just one thing...

See even check this review where the evo is mentioned and they have bought the iphone so they are not fandroids.. " It's a nice revision over iOS 3, but I feel as if iOS4 has fallen behind in the mobile OS race in comparison to the other OSes on the market."

I don't think you understood my post. Jon (TechnoBuffallo) did Smackdowns between the EVO 4G & iPhone 4 (EVO Won), Droid X & iPhone 4 (iPhone Won) and EVO 4G & Droid X (EVO Won again). I was just saying if the EVO beat the iPhone and the iPhone beat the Droid X then there was no way the EVO was going to lose against the Droid X. If you haven't already check out all of his reviews on youtube.
