This post is really for no other reason than I thought this was funny...I am cancelling my AT&T phone/DSL service and tried to do it over the online chat customer service function. The person on the other end told me that I had to call, they were sorry to lose me as a customer, and gave me the number to call. Then this:
AT&T Chat Rep: who do you use for cell phone
Me: Sprint
AT&T Chat Rep: really, are you under a contrat
AT&T Chat Rep: contract
AT&T Chat Rep: we have the new iPhone
AT&T Chat Rep: and some other phones that are free , with no rebate required
AT&T Chat Rep: did you want to get more information
AT&T Chat Rep: if there is nothing else, have a great day
I didn't respond because I had covered up the chat window with another and forgot about it...I wish I would have asked her to sell me against the Evo. That would have been a fun conversation...
