What exactly are you asking? How to re-root? How to re-enable WiFi Hotspot/USB Tethering?

Hmm, well, I tried unrEVOked, but I didn't like it and it caused me too many issues. What's the latest root method for HTC EVO 4G (NOT lte)? Keep an eye out for the giant post I did on instructions on how to re-root. As for WiFi Hotspot/Tether, did you use an app or the stock apps?

Well, all I can say is just, if that really is the issue, first try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If still no go, reroot your phone. Whether you use my root method or another, just try it then.
