Question Why Else Do you think we have shortages?

wouldnt it make sense samsung is claiming they have shortages on the lcd screens they provide to htc for the EVO 4G also the droid incredible this way htc cant sell there high end phones while samsung pushes out there super amoled android phones out on all 4 major carriers. how else can samsung get a lead in the market? stop the competition from being able to produce their product. only makes sense no?

Samsung makes those screens, so they have every right to choose how the sell them. Even if that means not selling them and using them in their own phones. It's not really to stop the competition, they are just taking care of themselves.

No that doesn't make sense. these phones not selling is hurting them too. Samsung is making money off of all these device manufacturers. The problem is their factories can only pump out so many screens at a time. they are building more factories as we speak, so they have stated. it will be a year or 2 before these factories are in full swing.

Nope, that whole argument makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

If Samsung were to do what you are saying they would be completely putting themselves out of business on the selling parts to other manufacturers. Many companies sell parts to their competitors, it is simple business logic. If Samsung were to do this, who would purchase Samsung LCD screens ever again?
