trick EVO into wifi?

Is there anyway to trick the evo into thinkibg that it is connected to wifi?

I try to upload youtube videos. That are almost a minute long and need wifi to upload? I know there's an app in iphone that does it for.jailbroken phones.

Is there some sort of app or way to do this?

I would like to know this too... I even tried over 4g and it didn't want to allow me... only over wifi

Yeah i've noticed that. It's like it's connected but it won't surf or download hd video etc.. I have to turn off and go back to 3g
