Default Internet tethering works with leaked froyo rom

I downloaded and manually installed the HTC froyo 2.2 rom that was up on HTC website for download and later pulled-obviously I don't have root.PdaNet 2.42 works-I am using newsbin pro and getting 650 kb/sec(i live in a basement apt)-if I lived upstairs I could probably get 1.5Mb/sec download.I tested the new 4g radio and it is phenomenal.I got 12402, 11517, 10898, and 9539 down with speedtest.net mobile app.So if your worried about flashing xda-developers custom froyo 2.2 rom(some people are having issues with camera etc) but need internet tethering installs this and install PdaNet 2.42 and voila you can tether without root.

It was always assumed that PdaNet would always work, Froyo or not, rooted or not. The same goes for EasyTether. The real issue is whether you can tether with Froyo without root and without those two apps.
