Default How to uninstall Flash 10.1 pre-release...?

I'm trying to uninstall Flash 10.1 on my device, because since I updated to 2.2, it is buggy and tends to crash my browser more often than not on flash-based sites.

This thread confirms the issue, but I still cannot uninstall the application. For whatever reason, when I go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Adobe Flash Player 10.1, all of the buttons are greyed out. I cannot click any of them, let alone the "Uninstall" that I'd like to.

Any advice? What am I missing here?

You can disable plug-ins from the browser settings.
The only complaint I have about my EVO is that it turned my $300 netbook into a paperweight.

mma, you may want to grab an unistall app in the market, I have just "uninstaller" but if you're rooted you can use titanium backup to do the un-install work as well.

Perhaps a question for a new thread - but as this is a prerelease beta, how will updates to flash be handled?

I assume that since it doesn't appear in the market downloads I won't get notified if there is a new version to install and I'm not sure that if there were a new version, it can be installed on top of the current version.

I am rooted with Fresh installed, and I guess I could remove it through means of Titanium or otherwise - but had the phone been stock what would the process be to update to newer versions as they're released (or would a person with a stock rom be at the mercy of Sprint to release an update with the newer version baked in?)

I can't get mine uninstalled either. I've just been the Dolphin browser. It doesn't crash as much.

You don't need to uninstall the pre-release, just get the flash apk built for froyo and just install that.. it fixes the whole flash issue.
