Facebook problems w/EVO (2.1 and 2.2)

Got set up w/my EVO's last week, and everything works great on the phone except the Facebook ap. I uploaded Froyo on it and everything on the phone is amazing, except the Facebook ap... from time to time it will tell me that it can't retrieve information etc. What needs to be done? I did a factory reset to make sure everything was set properly, but I need more help!!

It's not Froyo it's the Facebook app itself it kind of sucks IMO!

In Froyo, just use the full website version. Just drop a bookmark on one of your screens, and pretend it's an app. If you zoom in a bit in the browser, it works better than everything out there.

I appreciate the tips on this -- I'll try that and compare the experience. Any one know anything about a fix for the ap?

a little after 2.2 fb went to suck status. I updated the FB app version though and seems to work much better

It's not the Facebook app either really; Google the error message and you will find a long history of this error. It comes and goes. My guess is the problem is actually on Facebook's end of things.

Yeah, I was getting that last night. Woke up this morning and it was working fine again.
