Is there a way to keep the screen on with the EVO while it is charging?

I have searched and cannot find an answer, any help would be appreciated.

Yep... though it's hidden in an odd place.

APPLICATIONS -> DEVELOPMENT -> STAY AWAKE (screen will never sleep when charging)

There are widgets out there as well that do this.

I found that setting, but it does still dim the display.

It would, but I ask this because I have a dash mounted car charger from ProClip that is a super quick rapid charger so I am not too concerned about the speed of charging.

I am more concerned about the display staying on while in the cradle.

If I ever need to keep the screen on (like I'm transferring a large file over wifi), I just open up my web browser since it's set to Keep Screen On. So it stays on and never dims. Before that, I just opened up any game that would force the screen to stay on like Puzzle Attack.

Umm... is there a reason you're trying to do this? Is it in a car dock and you don't want it to turn off? I haven't used the Car Panel app myself, but that will force the screen to stay on.

I know of 2 pay ones but haven't adventured through all the free widgets to find any.
