Default 9/22/2010 EVO Update posted to Sprint Support page

Based on the Sprint support page, this update fixes:
    - Calendar event edit issues
    - Multiple Gmail account sync

This detail page specifies that it's a staged release:

This user comment mentions the OTA is supposed to fix the error 67 issue (not noted on Sprint Support, but won't know for sure til the OTA rolls out):

It's only a matter of time. Hopefully this time around they tested this OTA (last major one bricked my Evo I had to have it replaced).

I've got an e-mail into HTC to see whether it addresses the rumored 30FPS fix.

Looking forward to see if it fixes the issues with wav files. However, it was posted on the Sprint community that it would not be in the next MR. That would mean this one.

Is there any way possible that this update could possibly fix the AAC codec problems with Slacker radio etc?

No joy in Detroit. It's gonna be like the Froyo update, isn't it, where they put the changelog up a few days ahead, leaving us to hammer "Check now" over and over? Bleah.

Without anyone actually having their hands on it, it's safe to assume that this will in fact include the new stagefright.

Still no update here! I am kinda sad that we hear about them before they actually happen. I'd almost prefer to be pleasantly surprised instead of anxiously rechecking availability :-D

I really hope they address the audio codec issue. Pandora sounds like it is being played through a sweatshirt.

probably not. that is a general android froyo issue not specific to EVO this update seems to be very device specific.

should i put back the original froyo 2.2 kernel before the update?
i installed a netarchy fps kernel and thats it.

If you installed the custom kernel for the fps fix then I would definitely revert back to the stock kernel before attempting this new update. Better safe than sorry.
