It's only a matter of time. Hopefully this time around they tested this OTA (last major one bricked my Evo I had to have it replaced).

I've got an e-mail into HTC to see whether it addresses the rumored 30FPS fix.

Is there any way possible that this update could possibly fix the AAC codec problems with Slacker radio etc?

No joy in Detroit. It's gonna be like the Froyo update, isn't it, where they put the changelog up a few days ahead, leaving us to hammer "Check now" over and over? Bleah.

Still no update here! I am kinda sad that we hear about them before they actually happen. I'd almost prefer to be pleasantly surprised instead of anxiously rechecking availability :-D

I really hope they address the audio codec issue. Pandora sounds like it is being played through a sweatshirt.

should i put back the original froyo 2.2 kernel before the update?
i installed a netarchy fps kernel and thats it. - 09-22-2010, 03:19 PM #24
If you installed the custom kernel for the fps fix then I would definitely revert back to the stock kernel before attempting this new update. Better safe than sorry.
