There's one less EVO in the world....guess the protection plan I purchased was worth it.

My wife left her EVO on top of the car and drove off. Frankly I'm surprised she found it nearly a mile away.

Definitely! Her's had a case and insurance while mine remains naked. Her's didn't last 3 months.

just an FYI, the insurance through Sprint ("Asurion") was freakin' great. In less than 24 hours we had an entirely new phone (and a spare charger and extra 8 GB SD card). Of course there was a $100 deductible... :-$

Should have waited till next week. Sprint would have fixed it for free assuming the board inside wasn't exposed. Cracked screens and physical damage are free of charge starting Saturday (for folks with TEP/ESRP).
