So have had this about two weeks
So I took it back to Sprint and they put a new screen on for free...

that SUUUUUXXX!! I dropped mine after a month. It only scattered the very bottom right corner and caused one straight crack from there to the top left corner. I'm just living with it, i barely notice it now.

Man, over the weekend my EVO had a eventful night. The damage makes yours look like a scratch lol. But everytime i see a broken screen I cringe.

I bet it was caused by that task killer app......but..lets not get into a discussion about those...

Do you bother with a protective case? If so, which one? Mine is in Seidio's Innocase II Surface. Please, let me know if my case is useless so I can try another option and hopefully avoid this scenario.
Glad to hear that Sprint treated you right on the repair issue. I just hit my one year anniversary with them as a service provider ( celebrated by upgrading to the EVO ) and the reasons to stay with them just seem to keep on coming! - 11-01-2010, 03:48 PM #22
My screen used to look like that until I STARTED using a task killer. Now it is just like new!
