Vibration and Haptic Feedback

Hey All,

Just recently got my Evo and the Vibration and Haptic Feedback functions aren't working properly. I've looked up some fixes, like sound manager, etc and still can't get either of them to work. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this issue and knows if there is a fix. If not, I'll just go in and get a replacement.

It is under settings. I personally turned those off. Waste of battery imho.

It would help if you described what it's doing (and not doing) in more detail.

The only thing I've noticed is that the first day or two after I got my phone the haptic feedback was very subdued and smooth. After the break in period was over it's a little more crude feeling. It's hard to describe it in text.

What sort of issues are you having?

I've found it's easy to get ahead of the feedback when you're typing if you are a quick typer. This is one of my complaints of the whole system. But I find when I turn off the feedback that I miss it.

I also like it for the capacitive buttons on the bottom (home, menu, back, etc) since there is not physical button to move.
