i've used both of these applications before--
maybe it's just perception vs actual results--
but the resolution of video sucks! seriously.
i tried recording one 5 minute clip in Qik, one 5 minute clip in uStream.
between the two, uStream had better resolution--but nothing like i wanted.
(it's a 1 month old Evo, no wear/tear on the phone really)
even while filming, there seemed to be a blurry resolution in place. it's set to High resolution, and my lens is free from smudge and any scratches.
i heard someone say that it was simply a coding issue--that the hardware was there and it could be fully functional in HD (after they investigated the specs on the camera and similar phones with the same camera/software)...so it leads me to this...
is this simply something that's limitational on insta-streaming programs like Qik&uStream?
maybe youtube is a better option to record/upload? thoughts?
