Updating Software Question

I am a newbie here and I have a question. I have rooted my EVO with unrevoked. I was wondering if and when the new 2.3 drops will I have to unroot my phone to upgrade it then rooted it again, or will the phone see the OTA update and do it?

I have a similar question -- I have an update from September that wants to be updated, but I can't apply it as I'm rooted and can't seem to find a simple to use answer for this problem.

So obviously when 2.3 drops I'll have the same problem.

See sticky in hacks and rom section. I have read DO NOT do any ota updates on a rooted phone. Just like with 2.2 they made a rooted version. Just have to wait til they make a rooted version of 2.3.
