Default Evo + Airave = Islamabad?

Please tell me this is just a simple "Sprint needs to reset my Airave" situation.

As of last week both EVO's in our home have been showing our current location as Islamabad, Karachi .. .If I launch Google maps, or anything that access the GPS, it will then see us as in Chicago. If we leave and come back home.. back to Karachi.

We have an Airave and I've tried resetting it twice but still when it comes back up it says we are in Karachi. Has this happened to anyone else out there?

Wow I thought mine was off, only by about 10 miles. Normally I think it shows the location of your internet node. Maybe your internet connection is routed through the Middle East?

Well last night we were part of the Comcast DNS outage.. and had been having tons of issues for the last week. I switched our DNS to the suggested Google open last night and now my phone is saying Chicago (which is close enough).

My guess is that Comcast's issues were playing havoc with my Airave, because now it seems to be better.

So, could you take your airave to India and use the Evo in your house there?

I have an arirave at home and mine works fine, so I'm not sure if the issue is with your device or your ISP
