is there a way to remove "send message" from contacts menu for multiple numbers

Hopefully, I just don't know how to do it, but is there a way to have this feature removed for phone numbers that are NOT mobile phone numbers? It's annoying because I have to make sure I'm choosing the correct phone number (mobile number) in order to send txt msg. I have numerous contacts with 2-4 different phone numbers (mobile, home, work, fax). Why on earth would anyone send txt msg to a fax? lol

Well, handcent sms does have a setting to let you only show mobile numbers in their app. However that doesn't change the default contact list (people) which still duplicates all that crap....

yeah, htc really doesn't get it. I've posted on their support forum about this and never even got a response. Stupid is as stupid does.

I wonder how simple the script would be. I know nothing about coding but in that frame of reference I imagine its small. It seems simple enough, if its marked as mobile, it shows send sms, if its marked ANYTHING else, it doesn't.
