Creating directory's in the photo gallery

I'm new to EVO from Blackberry Curve 8830. Is there a way to organize photos into folders in the gallery by use of directory's?

Using either a file manager or connecting to your PC.....you can create new folders for ur photos/videos......just create a new folder, name it and moved ur pics/videos into that floder.....it will then be automatically placed into ur gallery under that folder name

Where do I create that folder, in the DCIM directory?

Just transferred all the pictures from my BlackBerry like 2 seconds ago...
Go into your card from your computer, Media, then create a folder and rename it to pictures. Inside of that folder, you can do sub-folders. As far as where the EVO will store new pictures, I have no clue since I've not taken the first picture with it. I assume they will go into the DCIM folder.
