Cant get texts from one contact

I had my evo for a few days now and im having an issues of getting text messages from one person. I can text them fine from google voice but not my real number. Im coming from a Pre and had the same issue but i thought it was just that phone. Anybody know a fix? there on sprint also...

Where did you check? You can also block them on the Sprint website.

it could also be a message that is in a loop in the network.
have sprint reset sms on your plan and it should clear it up.
Does for me on verizon at least.

I logged on Sprints website and saw I haven't blocked anyone.. It might be just a network issue or something

Did you ever use the 9999 SMS feature to block anyone, directly from your phone by text?

I would call sprints customer service or try deleting the contact and re-adding them.

it's a text and not a picture message?
reason=can't receive picture messages while on a Wifi network

(simply putting this into the mix b/c O/P didn't state "can't receive any texts" just "issues getting texts from one person"

You might want to also check that the contact you can't receive messages from doesn't have you blocked.

I used the SMS block feature before but not for that contact

The contact can get my text messages but I can't get theres it maybe be a Sprint issues with just that contact. I been using my google voice number to text them for like 3 months but would like to use my real number. Again I thought it was just an issue with my old phone but looks like I have to call sprint
