ADW Launcher Ex????
Few questions on ADW. I bought it from the Market lastnight and I love it first off. I have done some reading today seeing that it doesnt run off the HTC scene widgets. When I launched the ADW app I didnt see the phone button or widget, do they make one cause i like having it there like the scenes had it on the bottom of the screen so I can make a call.
What about a 4G widget?
And last before I run ADW I read that on my HTC Scene home screen I should delete all widgets from calander all the way down to the last widget cause it drains battery still while ADW is running, is that true?

You can change the dock settinga to make it five buttons and put the phone button down there.
Like i have here

As for the 4g widget, i cant remember which one i have. I think its power control plus.
But also make sure to clear off sense because it will drain your battery in the background

Another way to add apps to homescreens in adw is to open the app drawer, and hold on the app you want. Then the app drawer disappears, and you can drag the app to where you need it.
One thing I really like about adw is that you can adjust the size of Widgets. I use this mostly to keep the middle one centered in a row of three, or if I have one alone in a row, cos I'm all weird about symmetry like that.

"Clear off all sense" ??
What does this mean? Do you need to uninstall Sense somehow after installing another launcher? What if you want to return to Sense later? - 01-15-2011, 09:35 AM #22
Just switch back to sense and choose the scene clean salte. That way you do not have any widgets running on the sense launcher bogging down your battery
