What would you like to see from the EVO2

Verizon just got the Iphone 4 and the Iphone 5 will deff be on sprint this this summer. Thats when the Evo 2 comes out. Do you think they will make it better then the iphone? Because it going to be a big giant blood bath when the EVo 2 and Iphone 5 hit sprint.

Honestly all the Iphone4 has over the Evo is brand name and the TapTap app... lol

i seriously doubt that sprint will get an iphone.. its more likely that tmobile will get it before sprint

there hasnt been a rumor about sprint getting the Iphone in a long time.....Verizon wouldnt let that happen in the first place......Verizon porportadly put up alot of $$$$ to keep it with verizon.....I would have to agree that sprint wont get it....i could care less, cause i think its terrible...but thats me.....but i can see what you mean though, about the competition with the EVO2....the OG EVO is the only phone out there that matches up with the Iphone. ........So if the EVO2 will even exist, I think it would definately match up againt an Iphone5......but like i said....verizon wont let that happen....they threw around alot of cash to get the iphone, and to to protect themselves with it.......

really....the oonly phone to match upp with the iphone is the evo im not saying it isnt a good phone but lets think about

Samsung galaxy S line matches the iphone
Droid incredible matches the uphone
Drod x matches the iphone
nexus S matches the iphone

sprints going to be concentrating on android they're going to do what verizon did

So Verizon didn't pay a ton to keep it exclusive to their network.

But I also don't think that Sprint will get it anytime soon. They were pretty mum at CES and unless anything leaks out from WMC, I SERIOUSLY doubt they'll get it. That said, I wouldn't MIND if it came to Sprint only because they have cheaper plans and I can get a discount.

But I'm liking Android and am anxiously awaiting when/IF there will be an Evo 2. I've got time and I'll figure out what to do when I see what's available in summer.

You are making some mighty assumptions, how do you know there is an Evo 2? Couldn't the shift be the Evo's successor? An iPhone on Sprint? Look, just cause there is A CDMA iPhone doesn't mean every CDMA carrier will get an iPhone. By the way, if there is an Evo 2, it ain't coming in Summer, way too soon, we won't see dual core from HTC for a long time. Unless Sprint REALLY wants your money quickly. That's why the Shift was so meh, last Gen specs.

I kinda want it to be all aluminum. If there is one thing I like about the Iphone 4, it's its design.

I do agree with most accept when you said HTC won't have dual core for a long time. That is entirely untrue, and from what HTC reps have told me is we should see them by CTIA or MWC.

Sprint has made it clear that they will infact make a line of Evos. What's going to be called is anyones guess.

I dont know if they(Sprint)will ever carry the famous Iphone.

The CMDA iphone could come to Sprint, Verizon said yesterday their deal with Apple is NON-exclusive and since Sprint & Verizon use the same CDMA technology it shouldn't be a big deal.

That being said the iphone5 will most likely be a 4G phone and I don't see Apple producing a CDMA/LTE and a separate CDMA/WiMAX phone.

There's been nothing about an EVO2, only a rumor that "EVO" will be Sprint's "droid" which I guess you can say is confirmed with the EVO Shift but we'd still have to see more.

HTC is currently lacking in processing and display technology. They need to switch to some type of dual core setup with something comparable to the Retna, Super AMOLED + or LG's NOVA display technology. I hope they do to catch up to the newer generation of phones.

All that being said, every OEM wants to make money and the big guns (Moto, Sammy, HTC, LG, Sony) invest heavily in to R&D to have their 5 minutes in the sun with the latest device.

IMO the Samsung SAMOLED+ display and Tegra2 w/Nvidia GPU would be the best combination currently possible for a handset, though Sammy doesn't sell their screens nor do they use Tegra2/Nvidia (currently they use the Hummingbird).

So, we'll see.

If that **** you call Verizon has Iphone4 then Im sure Sprint will get the Iphone5. Even though Android is way better then Iphone. Sprint will need it to go up against all those ******s that think just because it called Iphone its gotta be the best.

I don't think it's a point of much concern, Android has recently taken the lead over the iphone in the US (still behind blackberry though). I'm sure there will be some Verizon iPhone blow back, but not everyone is going to dump their Android phones or go out of pocket for the iphone on VZW.

More competition is better in the mobile space anyway, we'll just end up with the best and latest and greatest as consumers.

The iPhone 5 will be on Sprint this summer? Don't you mean, "The iPhone 4G"? I suspect that they will just do a Software update to make it 4G. As for the Evo 2 being better than the iPhone, the OG EVO is already better than the iPhone, so I expect nothing less of the successor. The iPhone sux. That's just my opinion of course, but I'm not someone's wife or girlfriend who wants a stylish toy with an Apple logo. I'm a technologist who needs the technology to conform to my needs, not accept less for the same money and "make due" with what I'm given.
