Media Monkey problem...Sync in the wrong place...

I've just purchased the EVO and brought it home to add music. I also heard that MM is one of the best at creating playlists on the EVO so I gave it a try, and it has gone absolutely terrible so far. I create the playlist in MM and then sync the list to EVO. When I unmount and check my music, see that there is absolutely no music in the "playlist" section, and only about 1/3 of my music even shows up at all. So I mount it again and look at the sdcard to see if the music is there, and it is, but there's two things going on here. 1. The playlist that MM synced are in the playlist folder, but the size of each one is 1KB, and the file is M3U. 2. The real music is not in any folder at all, its just on the SDcard and the file is MP3. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
I've deleted the music three times, and started over and nothing changes...
