I have been having troubles when I go to dialer. I type in the first few letters of contacts name, the name shows up, I click on it and nothing happens or it takes 15 seconds to recognize I pressed name and dials. Sometime i have same issue when entering text where i type on keyboard and it dosen't show on screen till I back out and go back in.

I have done a hard reset and swapped out phone for another at store.

Ideas. I am running stock unrooted phone.

Try systempanellite from the market and see if you can see what's loading your phone down. Some apps behave badly and run the processor up to 100%. This sounds like whats going on. I don't know if system panel lite will work on an unrooted phone or not.

Either one of those two things mentioned should have at least fix the sluggishness on the phone.

Did you reinstall all the apps you had on before? Make sure you're not running too much widgets or any task killer.

If this is a recurring problem _ then it might be caused by a corrupt file.
