I wonder if HTC or Sprint will be able to top the evo this year? Haven't seen anything yet come out of the conference... I am interested in the HTC flyer thoo..

I'm not surprised at all. The evolution(evo) and the evo shift is good enough for me - for now.

I'm pretty sure by summer they'll have something exciting for us > AGAIN

I can't wait either!!! I pride myself with reading up on the latest/greatest from all the carriers, and to date I haven't seen any other phone come close to my evo!!!

I view it in this way: yeah Sprint's and HTC's new offerings have been underwhelming. However, this means that our current phone will remain Sprint's Flagship phone. I agree with Gotti9714: Aside from specs, I would counter that our Evo still measures up well with any phone mentioned thus far in real world use (provided you are not heavy into gaming). Add in our great development community and we should be ok for now. Still need an Evo 2 by next year though!;)
