Morning Screen Freak Out

This has happened twice since I got my EVO in November.
After a night of charging I turn the screen on and the phone start freaking out.
Going side to side between the home screens, trying to make calls, opening browsers. Seems like where I touch does not register where I touched but elsewhere on the screen. Rebooting it seems to resolve the problem. Should I be concerned for a future failure, or is this fairly common?

Unfortunately, hiccups like these do happen. It could be caused by anything - who knows. However, most time an app(s) is usually the culprit in these kind of issues.

I would suggest finding out the culprit. You could removed all non-pre-stock app(s), or "clear storage".

Ps. Sometimes these problems goes away after a couple restarts.(sometimes)

OK in that case try this....reboot once with it on and once with it off....in rare occassions the case protector will be activating buttons
