HTC EVO 4G Font Size

I'm thinking about getting a HTC EVO. Can the size of the font be adjusted larger or smaller? My eyes are going on me in my old age!

Yes. There's a pinch to zoom feature. You can make your text as big as you can stand.

That's one of the best features I first notice on my Evolution.(evo) The font adjust itself to fit the screen, and also pinch out and in capability.

Yes. By the pinch to zoom feature.

I think he wants to know if the font size can be set to a larger size full time without having to pinch to zoom.

I haven't found any way to adjust the default font. As previously mentioned, you can pinch to zoom, but at the same time there are some things unaffected by PTZ, like the browser address bar and icon text. So, you may want to keep that in mind. I would go play around with one at a store, if possible.
