Default Chase app and taking pictures

Evo owner and i have a the Chase Bank app and I went to take a photo of a check to deposit using the app and it does not take a picture. No matter how long or many times I hit the button nothing. Tried restarting the Evo and no luck. Camera works fine on its own just will not take pictures in the Chase App.

Just curious if any other Evo owners had this issue. thanks.

Having issues too. It always says the picture is not clear enough or something to that effect.

Mine does not even get that far. I just feel a vibration as I hit the button and nothing.

I haven't had any problems with it on my stock EVO. I've deposited several checks with it. You do have to watch the lighting on the checks though. I make sure the flash is off and take the picture at a slight angle so the phone isn't making a shadow over the check.

I haven't had any issues with the app either. I have deposited a few checks already.

Yeah I use this a few times a month. I put the checks on a black table, I hold the phone directly over the check with my elbows on the table to make sure the phone is steady. I don't use the flash and make sure the lights in the room are on. I haven't had one problem and dig the new way of "going to the bank."
